2018 Annual Report

The NEIAHU held 12 meetings for our membership to provide information on legislative issues, member issues and provide education on the NAHU mission and goals.

We offered our membership the opportunity to receive 22 continuing education hours from January through December of 2018

Giving Back to our Community

Featured the following Not For Profits, providing our membership to learn about the great work being completed by volunteers in our communities

  • Community Transportation Network
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of NorthEast Indiana
  • Pauls Place:  Support for Families

  • Matthew 25 Clinic
  • Allen County SPCA
  • Community One

In an effort to improve our communities, the NEIAHU donated over $3,000 to area charities

Communication with our Membership

In an effort to improve communication with our members, the NEIAHU completed the following:

  • Improved the website
  • Added a Facebook page
  • Sent 12 newsletters to our members
  • Shared meetings and CE opportunities on all of the above, in addition to publishing events in the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette
  • Shared our financial statements with our members to ensure transparency
  • Conducted a members needs survey

Engaged in NAHU events

Our NEIAHU chapter participated and made an impact in the following events:

  • The NAHU National Convention
  • Attended the Capital Conference
  • Attended the Regional Leadership Conference
